- Temperature: This plant is cold-hardy and can tolerate temperatures down to USDA hardiness zones 5a (-20°F or -28.9°C). It prefers temperatures between 60-75°F (15-24°C) but can withstand colder conditions with proper protection.
- Humidity: Tokyo Sun is adaptable to various humidity levels and does not require specific humidity conditions to thrive. It can tolerate both dry and moderately humid environments.
- Fertilization: Fertilize sparingly with a balanced fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer). Avoid over-fertilizing, as this can lead to leggy growth or an imbalance of nutrients.

- Support: Tokyo Sun typically does not require support. Its low-growing habit and dense mat-forming growth provide stability, making it suitable for ground cover or cascading over edges.
